Clay Greenfield will attempt to qualify for the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series season-opener at Daytona International Speedway in February, as part of a planned part-time schedule in the No. 95 Chevrolet Silverado for GK Racing.

A native of Clarksville, Tennesee, Greenfield will have primary sponsorship from Backyard Blues Pools for his partial campaign in the NASCAR Truck Series, driving the entry that he and his wife Tandra co-own with Jordan and Theresa Kiss.

The 39-year-old driver tells TobyChristie.com that the No. 95 Chevrolet Silverado will return to the track at North Wilkesboro, Bristol, and Talladega. Greenfield adds that while not confirmed, Nashville and Richmond are two races that could be added to his schedule.

Speaking with Brad Gillie and Davey Segal on SiriusXM NASCAR Radio on Saturday, Greenfield also confirms that GK Racing will have an alliance with Young’s Motorsports, and will be working out of their shop for the 2024 season.

“Just an incredible facility, aesthetically just beautiful,” Greenfield said of his alliance with Young’s Motorsports. “As far as what they have in the shop — I know there’s still a handful of teams that build chassis in-house, aside from that there is nothing inside that shop that any other shop has. So, looking forward to being able to work together with them and share some resources, and hopefully, it leads to a lot of success.”

Tucker Wingo, who has worked with Clay Greenfield in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series since 2021, will once against serve as the crew chief of the No. 95 Chevrolet Silverado in 2024.

The upcoming season will mark the 15th for Greenfield as a part-time competitor in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series in which time the journeyman has scored a pair of top-10 results, including a career-best eighth-place result at Talladega in 2017.

In 2023, Greenfield was part of forming GK Racing, which contested a pair of NASCAR Truck Series events at WWT Raceway and Talladega Superspeedway. The organization only made a single event, but crashed on the first lap of the race, finishing 35th.
