After several years and starts on the short tracks of the ARCA Menards Series, Afghanistan War veteran Ryan Roulette is set to take on the high banks of Daytona International Speedway.

The Active Duty Air Force officer is swapping his plane controls for a steering wheel, and teaming up with Fast Track Racing to pilot the No. 12 for the upcoming ARCA Menards Series season opener. This will mark Roulette’s first start on the 2.5-mile superspeedway after testing with Fast Track last weekend at Daytona.

Joining the Minot, ND native is the Veterans of Foreign War (VFW) once again. They have been partners with Roulette throughout his career, including Flat Rock Speedway, Elko, Bristol, and Phoenix Raceway in the 2023 ARCA Menards Series season. The 37-year-old has nine total starts across the ARCA Menards Series platform with a career-best of 10th at the Nashville Fairgrounds.

He joins the Fast Track Racing stable once more, along with Jon Garrett who will be running his own equipment with assistance from the team.

He was originally a dirt track racer after living for some time in Knoxville, Iowa, and running hot laps in a friend’s dirt car.

Roulette has been partnered with the VFW for several starts before this season and has been proud to support the organization.

“The support from our state and local VFW representatives at last year’s races was outstanding,” said Dan West, who is an adjutant general of the Veterans of Foreign War.

“We intend to build off that momentum this year to further camaraderie among veteran race fans and let them know about the many programs and services the VFW has available,” he added.

You can catch the Roulette debut on the high banks of Daytona International Speedway live on Fox Sports 1 on February 17th at 1:30 PM E.T.
