Reaume Brothers Racing has landed the new driver of the organization’s No. 33 Ford F-150 as Lawless Alan will pilot the truck for the full 2024 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series campaign. Alan made the announcement on Sunday’s episode of SiriusXM NASCAR Radio’s Skinner Round-Up.

It’s a reunion of sorts as Alan made his NASCAR Truck Series debut for RBR back in 2021. Alan will bring long-time partners AUTOParkIt, AUTOChargeIt, and AUTODockIt with him for the 2024 season.

“I’m very excited to be racing for Reaume Brothers Racing in 2024,” Alan said in a team press release. “It’s a welcome return from my debut races in the NCTS that presents great opportunities for my career. I’m also excited to continue my long-standing relationship with AUTOParkIt, AUTOChargeIt, and AUTODockIt as we build on the success we have achieved together in previous years. I believe that this team and I can continue to grow together. We have both been labeled as underdogs throughout our time in NASCAR, and I believe that with the resources that each of us brings to the table, we can really do something special.”

Reaume Brothers Racing has made a name for itself over the years as the race team has served as the springboard for the careers of drivers who have spent sustained periods in the NASCAR National Series. While it is nice to be a springboard for others, the goal for Reaume Brothers Racing in 2024 is for the team to take a step toward being a truly competitive organization in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series.

“We take a lot of pride in having Lawless return after debuting with us several years ago. Our paths diverged as our team continued to grow while Lawless has been developing and honing his race craft. While placing all the chips on the table, we have aligned with one goal… to shock the entire series with our success,” team owner Josh Reaume said. “2024 we will not be accepting the status quo, as a small team we want every large team scratching their heads on Monday mornings wondering how we are overachieving them.”

As the team looks to improve its overall competition in the upcoming season, Reaume Brothers Racing has hired Trip Bruce as the team’s competition director.

Bruce, a veteran crew chief in the sport, recorded three NASCAR Xfinity Series wins and 12 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series wins before stepping down from the pit box in 2022.

1995 NASCAR Truck Series champion Mike Skinner, who served as Alan’s driver coach at the end of the 2023 season, will make the move with the driver and will serve as the driver coach for the Reaume team in 2024.

The 23-year-old Alan has made a total of 53 starts in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series ranks, and he scored his first-career top-10 finish this past season at Talladega Superspeedway.

Alan got his NASCAR National Series career kicked off with a five-race stint with the Reaume Brothers in the 2021 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series season. Following that five-race stretch, Alan moved to Niece Motorsports late in the 2021 season. Following four starts in 2021, Alan ran the full 2022 and 2023 seasons for Niece Motorsports.

The California native finished 22nd in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series championship standings in each of the last two seasons.
