Josh Berry will have the bold, delicious flavor of Sunny D coursing through his taste buds in 2024 as the drink brand will serve as a primary sponsor for the No. 4 Stewart-Haas Racing team in multiple races this season.

“It’s a privilege to drive the No. 4 Ford Mustang for Stewart-Haas and to represent an existing partner in SUNNYD, which brings an added sense of pride,” Berry said in a team press release. “It’s an excellent opportunity and I’m incredibly grateful for it.”

The partnership will kick off at the Busch Light Clash at the LA Memorial Coliseum, and Sunny D will also serve as the primary sponsor for Berry in the season-opening Daytona 500. The remainder of the primary sponsorship schedule for Sunny D will be announced at a later date.

“The 2024 season marks SUNNYD’s ninth consecutive year as a primary sponsor in the NASCAR Cup Series and we’re excited to align with Josh Berry and Stewart-Haas Racing right out of the gate with the Clash and Daytona 500,” said Henk Hartong, Chairman, SUNNYD. “We’re grateful to our fans and customers for their loyal support of SUNNYD and what can be considered the best paint scheme on the track. We look forward to our ongoing partnership with Stewart-Haas and the No. 4 car and splashing SUNNYD on Josh in victory lane.”

Stewart-Haas Racing made the announcement via a post on X, formerly Twitter, on Friday morning.

Berry, 33, will be a Sunoco Rookie of the Year contender during the 2024 NASCAR Cup Series season. The racer has run a total of 12 NASCAR Cup Series events, including 10 a season ago. Berry has a career-best finish of second, which he achieved at Richmond Raceway filling in for an injured Chase Elliott last year.

“It’s been very meaningful to get some opportunities in the Cup Series,” Berry said. “I’m proud of how they went, but I’m proud to drive a Cup car that’s got my name on it.”

The Tennessee native racked up five wins over the last three seasons in the NASCAR Xfinity Series. In 2022, he made it into the Championship 4 in the NASCAR Xfinity Series Playoffs.

Stewart-Haas Racing announced Berry as the successor of Kevin Harvick in the team’s No. 4 entry back on June 21st.
