Stefan Parsons, a journeyman racer who has ground it out for opportunities in the NASCAR National Series ranks, will move to the No. 75 Henderson Motorsports team to contest a part-time NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series schedule in 2024.

Parsons announced the move in a post on X, formerly Twitter, on Friday morning.

In the post, Parsons stated, “I’m so excited for the opportunity to drive the Henderson Motorsports No. 75 @TeamChevy this season in the @NASCAR_Trucks. I’m looking forward to representing @FoodCountryUSA and so many other great organizations in our quest for (Checkered Flags). Can’t wait to get to work @DAYTONA!”

Parsons, the son of NASCAR Cup Series race-winner Phil Parsons, has competed in 76 NASCAR National Series events throughout his career. The 25-year-old has 11 starts in NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series competition, including three starts in 2023.

The racer has a career-best NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series finish of 17th, which he achieved driving for Jay Robinson back in 2018 at Bristol Motor Speedway.

Parsons got a one-off opportunity with Rackley W.A.R. in the season-finale at Phoenix Raceway last season, but the dream opportunity turned into a nightmare. A brake failure in practice sent Parsons into the outside wall, destroying the primary truck. The backup truck suffered a similar fate after Parsons was crashed by Bayley Currey on Lap 129 of the race.
