Corey Heim, a five-time winner in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, will contest a partial schedule in the NASCAR Xfinity Series for Sam Hunt Racing in 2024, driving the No. 26 Toyota GR Supra.

The 21-year-old driver will make his first Xfinity Series start of the 2024 season at Las Vegas Motor Speedway on March 2, with additional races on his schedule set to be announced at a later date.

“I can’t wait to join Sam Hunt Racing again in 2024,” said Corey Heim. “I saw improvement throughout every start I made with SHR in 2023 from top to bottom, including in myself as a driver. That’s really what I’m looking for in a partnership — the constant push to be better, and I know SHR will continue to make that their goal in 2024. It really excites me as a driver to be part of a group like this. I’m looking forward to building this year together and contending for wins.”

Heim is an up-and-coming driver in the Toyota Driver Development (T2D) program, having spent last season competing full-time in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series for TRICON Garage, where he scored three wins, 12 top-fives, and won the regular-season title.

A native of Marietta, Georgia, Heim will return to TRICON Garage on a full-time basis in 2024, where he’ll pilot the No. 11 Toyota Tundra TRD Pro while juggling his duties as a part-time driver for Sam Hunt Racing in the NASCAR Xfinity Series.

“Everyone at Sam Hunt Racing is excited to have Corey back with us at an expanded capacity in 2024,” said Sam Hunt, 30-year-old owner of Sam Hunt Racing. “Corey is a young man that I’ve been a vocal believer in for years now, and I know he will be a driver that can grow into a staple of our Xfinity Series program. He embraces and believes in our group, and he is willing to put the work in to grow with us and compete at the highest level possible.”

Additional details on Heim’s Xfinity Series effort for 2024, including the exact schedule of events and sponsorship, will be announced at a later date.
