Ty Dillon Joins Rackley WAR for 2024 NASCAR Truck Series Campaign

After spending six of the last seven years as a full-time competitor in the NASCAR Cup Series, Ty Dillon is dropping down to the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series with Rackley WAR in 2024.

Dillon, who last competed full-time in the NASCAR Truck Series in 2013, will pilot the No. 25 Chevrolet Silverado, beginning with the season-opening event at Daytona International Speedway.

“We are excited to announce Ty Dillon as the driver for Rackley WAR in the NASCAR Truck Series,” said Willie Allen, President and COO of Rackley WAR. “Ty’s exceptional talent is a perfect fit for our team as we elevate our engineering and technological capabilities to new heights.”

Last season, the organization recorded three top-five and 13 top-10 finishes in the series, as well as a berth into the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series post-season with Matt DiBenedetto.

“We’re investing in cutting-edge technology and innovative engineering to ensure Ty has one the most competitive trucks on the track,” Allen continued. “This season marks a new chapter for our team. We’re ready to showcase our progress and for a championship run. We look forward to making this season the new benchmark in our racing history.”

As part of the newfound agreement with Dillon, Rackley Roofing has agreed to serve as a 16-race primary sponsor for the No. 25 Chevrolet Silverado throughout the 2024 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series campaign.

“Racing in the NASCAR CRAFTSMAN® Truck Series is extremely competitive. Over these last three years, we have learned a ton of what to do and what not to do,” Rackley W.A.R. Chief Executive Officer Curtis Sutton said. “I believe we have put a team together with Ty Dillon behind the wheel of the No. 25 Chevrolet Silverado, where great things are in store in 2024 for this team, our sponsors and everyone who supports this organization, including Chevrolet Motorsports.”

The 31-year-old driver returns to the NASCAR Truck Series after holding down three NASCAR Cup Series rides in the last three seasons, with Gaunt Brothers Racing, LEGACY MOTOR CLUB, and Spire Motorsports.

Dillon is a three-time winner in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, and boasts a pair of top-five points finishing from his full-time seasons with Richard Childress Racing in 2012 and 2013, which netted him 16 top-five and 29 top-10 finishes.

“I’m excited to go back to the Truck Series and compete in the series that got it all started for me,” Dillon said. “I have a lot of good memories from earlier in my career with winning races and poles, and our goal is to create more this season. Rackley W.A.R. has built a solid foundation and it’s an honor to be a part of taking them to the winning level they want to be at. I’m very appreciative of this opportunity and ready to get started in Daytona.”

The Welcome, North Carolina-native will make his debut with Rackley WAR in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series at Daytona on February 16th, 2024.
