Blaine Perkins Moves to RSS Racing for Full-Time Xfinity Series Bid in 2024

Blaine Perkins has his new home for 2024 all set in stone. The 23-year-old racer will move to RSS Racing and will compete full-time in the NASCAR Xfinity Series as the driver of the No. 29 Ford Mustang.

RSS Racing made the announcement in a post on X, formerly Twitter, on Monday afternoon.

Perkins will join Ryan Sieg (No. 39) and Kyle Sieg (No. 28) as the full-time drivers for RSS Racing in 2024.

According to a representative from the team, RSS Racing plans to field a fourth part-time entry

Perkins finished 29th in the overall NASCAR Xfinity Series championship standings in 2023, a season where he ran 30 of the 33 events.

The California native started the 2023 campaign in the No. 07 entry for SS Greenlight Racing, but moved to the No. 02 Our Motorsports team heading into the seventh race of the season, which was at Richmond Raceway.

Perkins scored a season’s best finish of 13th at Martinsville Speedway, and he ended the year with four top-20 finishes. He’ll look to take a step forward in his racing career in 2024 with RSS Racing.

Heading into 2024, Perkins has a total of 43 starts in NASCAR Xfinity Series competition over the course of his career. Perkins has one top-10 finish, which came at Martinsville Speedway in the fall of 2022.

Perkins also has 22 starts in NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series competition.
