How cool is this? As Kevin Harvick nears the official end of his NASCAR Cup Series career, the 47-year-old racer will receive the honor of having the October 22nd NASCAR Cup Series race at Homestead-Miami Speedway named in his honor.

The event, which will be presented by longtime Harvick partner Mobil 1, will be titled the 4Ever 400. 4Eever, of course, has been the unique branding that has been utilized by Harvick and Stewart-Haas Racing during his retirement tour this season.

Homestead-Miami Speedway shared a video of the race name being revealed to Harvick, and the video is really special, as Harvick’s face lights up as soon as he sees the logo.

Harvick scored his 2014 NASCAR Cup Series championship with a victory at the 1.5-mile speedway in the season finale that year.

The legendary racer has enjoyed his time on the Homestead-Miami Speedway track over the years as he has accumulated 12 top-five finishes and 19 top-10s over the course of 22 starts at the track.

Harvick boasts a career average finish of 7.3 at the track.

If Harvick, who has yet to win in his final season, is able to rekindle some of that magic that he’s had over the years on his path to 60 NASCAR Cup Series wins, he very well could be in a position to win the 4Ever 400 presented by Mobil 1.

Man, how special that would be.
