There are 38 cars on the preliminary entry list for the 2023 NASCAR Cup Series Yellawood 500 at Talladega Superspeedway.

There are 38 cars on the preliminary entry list for Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Series Yellawood 500 at Talladega Superspeedway.

Last week’s race-winner, and championship point leader, William Byron will pilot the No. 24 Axalta Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 for Hendrick Motorsports. Byron is looking for his seventh win of the 2023 NASCAR Cup Series season this weekend.

The two open cars (teams without charters) are the No. 13 Kaulig Racing entry, which will be driven by Chandler Smith, and the No. 36 Front Row Motorsports entry, which will be driven by Riley Herbst.

Other notable entries include Brennan Poole in the No. 15 Rick Ware Racing entry, Carson Hocevar in the No. 42 LEGACY MOTOR CLUB entry, JJ Yeley in the No. 51 Rick Ware Racing entry, and BJ McLeod in the No. 78 Live Fast Motorsports entry.
