Brennan Poole has climbed from his racecar, after a scary incident in Saturday’s NASCAR Xfinity Series event at Texas Motor Speedway, which saw the No. 6 Chevrolet slam into the inside pit wall.

The incident started at the exit of turn four, when a loss of momentum allowed Ryan Sieg to rapidly close in on the rear-end of Poole, where he tagged the JD Motorsports driver in the left rear, sending him down through the grass.

Sliding through the grass, Poole was unable to scrub speed as he approached the inside pit wall, where he hit head-on and hard enough that all four tires lifted off the ground. Undoubtedly, that would end the day for the No. 6.

Luckily, as Poole impacted the pit wall, all the crew members from both the Stewart-Haas Racing and Alpha Prime Racing crews were able to get away from the incoming vehicle, avoiding any injuries.
