On Friday, NASCAR announced that the start time of Saturday’s NASCAR Cup Series event at Bristol Motor Speedway will be moved ahead an hour, as a result of inclement weather forecasted to hit the area on Saturday evening.

Saturday’s 500-lap contest was originally scheduled to begin at 7:30 PM ET, but will now see coverage begin at 6:30 PM ET. The broadcast networks will remain unchanged, with USA Network, PRN, and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio having coverage of the event.

The green flag for the final race of the NASCAR Cup Series Playoffs ‘Round of 16’ is now scheduled to drop at 6:35 PM ET.  Tickets for Saturday’s Bass Pro Shops Night Race at Bristol Motor Speedway are still available to purchase and can be found at BristolMotorSpeedway.com.

On Saturday, parking lots at Bristol Motor Speedway will be opening at 11:00 AM ET, with grandstand gates opening two hours later at 1:00 PM ET. The NASCAR Cup Series garage will be opening at 2:30 PM ET, four hours prior to the start of the event.
