Post-race technical inspection following Saturday’s NASCAR Xfinity Series Shriners Children’s 200 at The Glen at Watkins Glen International has been completed. According to NASCAR, no issues were detected in inspection.

As a result, Sam Mayer and the No. 1 JR Motorsports team have been confirmed as the official winners of the race.

This latest win, which came in controversial fashion after contact with Ty Gibbs on the final restart of the race, marks the second of the 2023 NASCAR Xfinity Series season for Mayer, and it’s the second of his career.

Sheldon Creed was officially the runner-up finisher in the race ahead of Parker Kligerman, Ross Chastain, and Connor Mosack, who rounded out the top-five finishers.
