Video: Kyle Larson Climbs from Mangled Car After Vicious Tumble in Eldora Million

Kyle Larson has climbed from his No. 57 after a major tumble in the mid-way portion of Thursday’s Eldora Million at Eldora Speedway.

Kyle Larson won’t leave Eldora Speedway one million dollars richer on Thursday, after being involved in a nasty, multi-car accident in the middle portion of the Eldora Million at Eldora Speedway in Rosberg, Ohio.

Larson, piloting the No. 57, was caught up in the multi-car accident when Aaron Reutzel, running inside the top five, lost traction and spun his No. 8 up the track toward the outside wall, directly in the path of Larson.

The 2021 NASCAR Cup Series champion was unable to avoid the spinning car, making contact with Reutzel, which sent his car into a backward somersault at full speed, causing him to tumble several times in the first corner.

The wreck wasn’t over, though, as Spencer Brayson and Gio Scelzi piled in while trying to avoid the two wrecking vehicles. However, the final impact looked like the scariest, as Lachlan McHugh came flying onto the scene, and clipped the right-rear corner of Larson at full speed.

All of the drivers that were involved in the incident, which occurred with 30 laps remaining in the Eldora Million, were able to climb from their cars without assistance from medical crews.
