Harrison Burton finds himself four laps off the pace, after an early-race spin by the No. 21 Ford Mustang, with slight wall contact to the inside barrier. Burton started the race inside the top-five, and was running inside the top-10 at the time of the incident.

What started off as a fantastic weekend for Harrison Burton, earning a career-best starting spot for Sunday’s Quaker State 400 at Atlanta Motor Speedway, has quickly turned into a recovery mission, after an early-race incident.

Burton, who was running inside the top-10 at the time of the incident, had a wake of dirty air cross his bumper, causing his No. 21 DEX imaging to break traction and spin at the exit of turn two.

Luckily for Burton, the drivers directly behind him were able to avoid his spinning Ford Mustang, despite some close calls with both Denny Hamlin and Todd Gilliland. Tyler Reddick also locked his brakes in the aftermath.

After the spin, Burton had four flat tires, and as a result of that, needed a tow back to pit road to get them changed, which has left him four laps off the pace.
