Kaulig Racing has partnered with Gabriel Glas, the creator of a true-universal wine glass that is flattering to all types of wine, to serve as the primary sponsor of AJ Allmendinger’s NASCAR Cup Series and NASCAR Xfinity Series entries at Sonoma.

Allmendinger, who far-and-away leads the NASCAR Xfinity Series in road course victories, will pilot the No. 10 Gabriel Glas Chevrolet Camaro for Kaulig Racing in the series’ inaugural event at Sonoma Raceway.

The Los Gatos, California native will run double duty at the 1.99-mile road course, as he attempts to secure his second Xfinity Series win of 2023 on Saturday with Kaulig Racing, before chasing his first top-five finish at Sonoma on Sunday.

“Kaulig Racing has always had a certain synergy on and off the track just as Gabriel Glas creates a synergy that yields the best wine experience,” Kaulig Racing president, Chris Rice says. “It’s a perfect fit as we go to wine country for AJ’s doubleheader weekend in Sonoma. We know AJ puts on a good show at these road courses and we’re looking forward to having Gabriel Glas be a part of it.”

Allmendinger, who returned to the NASCAR Cup Series on a full-time basis this season for Kaulig Racing, currently sits 25th in series points, after scoring a single top-10 result in the season-opening event at Daytona International Speedway.

“I’m excited to get back to Sonoma and run double duty,” says AJ Allmendinger. “I’m not quite happy with my on-track success at Sonoma yet. We ran there last year and just didn’t have the result we were looking for. Being my home track, it’s a special place for me. It’s always fun to see family and friends there and I’m excited to have Gabriel Glas onboard for both races. I’m hopeful we can have a good showing for them.”

So far this season, Kaulig Racing has had seven different drivers behind the wheel of the No. 10 Chevrolet Camaro, which includes Allmendinger, along with Justin Haley, Kyle Busch, Austin Dillon, Derek Kraus, Jordan Taylor, and Kyle Larson.

The entry has scored two victories this season, one with Allmendinger at Circuit of The Americas, and one with Kyle Larson at Darlington Raceway.
