A massive crash erupted on a restart with 55 laps remaining in Saturday night’s NASCAR Truck Series race at Kansas Speedway.

On a restart with 55 laps remaining in Saturday night’s NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Heart of America 200 at Kansas Speedway, a big crash ensued when Matt DiBenedetto, who was running third at the time, received a shot from behind from Christian Eckes.

As DiBenedetto and Eckes spun across the track, the two drivers collected several others including Dean Thompson, Carson Hocevar and more.

Here is a video of the crash:

And here are some replays of the crash:

As it appeared the crash was done, Chase Purdy, who was attempting to scoot by on the low side of the track, collided heavily with Eckes, who was skidding back down the track.

Purdy t-boned Eckes in the driver’s side of his No. 19 truck, and the contact was so hard that Eckes’ No. 19 machine actually lifted off the ground.

Here is a video of the secondary incident that resulted in a hard impact for Eckes and Purdy:

All of the drivers involved in the incident were evaluated and released from the infield care center.
