After just seven weeks of working together, Corey Heim and TRICON Garage are officially winners in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, scoring the win in Friday’s Long John Silver’s 200 at Martinsville Speedway.
Heim officially passed all facets of post-race inspection early on Saturday morning, after a rain-shortened event at the half-mile paperclip, which was deemed complete after 124 laps, 76 short of the scheduled distance.
NASCAR announced the official completion of post-race inspection at AM ET. With that declaration, Heim was officially named the winner, scoring his third victory in the NASCAR Truck Series.
Kyle Busch, Zane Smith, Ty Majeski, and Tanner Gray will all retain their positions inside the top five. The remainder of the results and point standings distributed by NASCAR are now deemed official.
