Kyle Larson spin Bristol Dirt Race 2023 NASCAR Cup Series Video Highlight
Kyle Larson spun from inside the top 10 on lap 156 of Sunday’s Food City Dirt Race at Bristol Motor Speedway.

Kyle Larson has been the dominant driver through the opening two Stages of Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Series Food City Dirt Race, as he had led a total of 75 laps from the pole.

However, between Stage 2 and Stage 3, Larson opted to keep his old tires on the No. 5 car, which seemed like a head-scratching move at the time. A few laps later, the move seemed even more questionable as Larson lost control in the low line on Lap 156 in Turn 4.

Here is a video of Larson’s spin:

Larson went from inside the top-10 to back to 33rd in the running order. And with only being allowed to change tires between the Stage breaks, Larson is locked in with his older tires the remainder of the event.

If Larson can rally back to win this race, it’ll be a comeback for the ages.
