Joey Logano Bubba Wallace spin William Byron 2023 Food City Dirt Race video highlight
Joey Logano and Bubba Wallace went for a spin after contact from William Byron to bring out the first caution of the Food City Dirt Race at Bristol.

The longest green flag run of the night in Saturday night’s NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race at Bristol Dirt was 11 laps. The NASCAR Cup Series reached that total in its first green flag run on Sunday in the Food City Dirt Race.

However, on Lap 12, Bubba Wallace and Joey Logano went for a ride in Turn 2. The incident started when William Byron got into the back of Joey Logano, which sent Logano into the rear of Wallace.

The contact from Logano sent Wallace spinning, and then Byron made contact with Logano again to send Logano spinning around. Logano would back into the water barrels at the entrance of pit road, as Todd Gilliland would go into the outside wall.

Here is a video of the incident that brought out the first caution of Sunday’s race:

Everybody was able to drive away from the incident, and only Gilliland lost a lap in the ordeal.

Logano won Saturday night’s Truck Series event, and he was the winner of the Inaugural NASCAR Cup Series Dirt Race at Bristol.
