Stewart Friesen went hard into the outside wall on lap 56 of Friday’s truck series race at Daytona and he took several drivers with him.

Stewart Friesen’s night came to an end as he was turned into the backstretch wall after contact with Ben Rhodes. It appeared that Friesen attempted to block Rhodes, who was alongside the right side of Friesen’s truck, which started the crash.

After Friesen pounded the wall, Colby Howard, Bret Holmes, Carson Hocevar, Parker Kligerman, and Codie Rohrbaugh joined in on the chaos.

Here is a video of the crash from the FS1 race broadcast:

This accident brought out the caution, which signaled the end of Stage 2 of the race. Tyler Ankrum collected the Stage 2 win.

While Rhodes and Howard were able to soldier on from the crash, and Friesen was able to return to the track after several laps of repair, Holmes, Kligerman, and Rohrbaugh were done for the night with the hard crash.
