Ben Rhodes and the No. 99 ThorSport Racing team will line up to chase another NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series championship in 2023, and they’ll do so with a returning partner. Kubota Tractor Corporation will return as a multi-race primary sponsor for the 2021 NASCAR Truck Series champion.

“It feels great to be back with Kubota in the 2023 season,” said Rhodes in a press release. “We have some unfinished business with how close we came in the playoffs last year. I would love nothing more than to celebrate some wins with Kubota this season. It’s also been fun to see how much support we have received from Kubota owners, NASCAR fans and people within the company. I know we will have a lot of people pulling for this orange truck to make it to victory lane.”

According to a press release from Kubota, the company will serve as a primary sponsor for Rhodes in six races during the 2023 season, which is an increase from the four primary sponsorships Kubota had in 2022.

The tenacity shown by ThorSport and Rhodes on the track is what led to Kubota extending and expanding its sponsorship of the driver and team in 2023.

“ThorSport Racing’s dedication, drive and commitment to become the longest-tenured team in the NASCAR truck series and to do it at the highest level, day-in and day-out, exemplifies the shared values of Kubota and our hard-working customers,” said Todd Stucke, Kubota Tractor Corporation Senior Vice President of Marketing, Product Support, and Special Projects. “When we move forward with a partnership, whether it’s on the racetrack, in the bull riding arena or in the classroom supporting the next generation of farmers, we ensure it aligns with our core business and loyal customer base, which is why we’re fired up to get those engines started with Ben and the ThorSport team.”

2023 Kubota Primary Sponsorship Schedule for Ben Rhodes

  • Las Vegas Motor Speedway, March 3
  • Texas Motor Speedway, April 1
  • North Wilkesboro Speedway, May 20
  • World Wide Technology Raceway, June 3
  • Pocono Raceway, July 22
  • Bristol Motor Speedway, September 14

In addition to the six-race primary sponsorship of the No. 99 Ford F-150, Kubota will serve as an associate sponsor for the entire ThorSport Racing team during the 2023 season.

Rhodes scored a race win during the 2022 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series season to go along with eight top-five finishes and 13 top-10s. The Kentucky native came up just shy of collecting back-to-back NASCAR Truck Series championships, as he finished runner-up in the 2022 championship battle to Zane Smith.
