Natalie Decker will join Emerling-Gase Motorsports for select events in both the NASCAR Xfinity Series and ARCA Menards Series for 2023, the organization announced on Wednesday.

Decker is set to join a NASCAR Xfinity Series lineup that currently includes team co-owners Joey Gase and Patrick Emerling, as well as Brad Perez, and CJ McLaughlin, who will all contest part-time schedules in the second-tier division.

Over the last two seasons, Decker has competed in eight NASCAR Xfinity Series events for a number of different organizations, including Our Motorsports, MBM Motorsports, RSS Racing, and Reaume Brother Racing.

The 25-year-old has also competed in a number of NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series events throughout her career, competing for organizations such as David Gilliland Racing and Niece Motorsports.

With a fifth-place finish in the 2020 season-opener at Daytona, Decker, driving for Niece Motorsports at the time, became the first woman to score a top-five result in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series.

Decker’s impending return to the ARCA Menards Series with Emerling-Gase Motorsports will mark the first time she’s competed in the division since a one-off event at Daytona for Ken Schrader Racing in 2020.

The Eagle River, Wisconsin-native has contested a full season in the ARCA Menards Series before, finishing seventh-place in series point standings for Venturini Motorsports in 2018, after scoring two top-five results at Daytona and Elko.

Additional details surrounding the partnership between Decker and Emerling-Gase Motorsports, including a schedule of events, and sponsorship for the effort, is expected to be announced on Thursday.
