Kevin Harvick, who in February will embark on his final full-time season as a driver in the NASCAR Cup Series, will join the Superstar Racing Experience (SRX) for two events in 2023, the series announced on Tuesday.

Harvick, a champion of the NASCAR Cup Series and NASCAR Xfinity Series, will make his SRX debut in the season-opener at Stafford Speedway on July 13, before returning to the series for the last pavement race of the year at Berlin Raceway on August 3.

The Bakersfield, California-native currently drives the No. 4 Ford Mustang for Stewart-Haas Racing in the NASCAR Cup Series, an organization co-owned by Tony Stewart, who is also the co-owner of the Superstar Racing Experience, founded in 2021.

The 47-year-old is the first driver to be announced as part of the Superstar Racing Experience’s third season. The series’ first two seasons saw championships captured by Tony Stewart and Marco Andretti.

Additional drivers for the third season of the Superstar Racing Experience are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
