Hill Motorsports will return to being a single-truck operation in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, with the organization announcing Tuesday that brothers Timmy and Tyler Hill will share driving duties of the No. 56 Toyota Tundra TRD Pro in 2023.

The organization – which ventured into becoming a multi-truck team in select events last season with the No. 5 Toyota Tundra – met some struggles in 2022, ending the season without scoring a top-10 finish for the first time in the team’s history.

Timmy Hill, owner of Hill Motorsports, feels like the upcoming season will provide a great opportunity for the team to reset, in hopes of returning to consistently competing for top-10 results.

“It’s exciting to finally have our plans set for 2023 in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series. After a year of fielding two trucks, we felt it was best to return to one truck and focus on getting our competitiveness where we expect it to be,” said Hill. “I have high hopes for the season and what we can accomplish.

Tyler Hill is also looking forward to returning to the seat of the No. 56 Toyota Tundra, with the number meaning a great deal to the Hill family.

“Racing alongside my brother and for our family team has always been a dream of mine. To be able to continue to have that dream realized and do it back again with the No. 56 on the door, it’s truly special,” said Tyler Hill. “2022 is in the rearview mirror and I can’t wait to get 2023 started with my brother and his great group of guys.”

Timmy Hill will pilot the No. 56 Toyota Tundra TRD Pro in the season-opening event at Daytona International Speedway on February 17. Additional sponsorship for the organization will be announced at a later date.
