On Tuesday Jack Wood and GMS Racing announced a brand new two-race primary sponsorship from Logitech G. According to a press release from the race team, Logitech will serve as the primary on the No. 24 Chevrolet Silverado at Talladega Superspeedway and Homestead-Miami Speedway.

For Wood, he’s excited to finally unveil the new Logitech black and blue look on his truck after working on the deal behind the scenes for some time, which includes the driver being added to Logitech’s growing list of brand ambassadors.

“I’ve been counting down the days till we could finally release this awesome partnership with the team at Logitech G. Their brand aligns perfectly with what I enjoy doing off the track,” Wood stated in the release. “When I first got started in racing, I used Logitech’s racing wheels to get me up to speed, so to bring them into sport in such a big way is really special. I know that there is going to be a lot of fans from the esports community on our side as we carry their iconic colors, and I am so glad to have their support at Talladega and Homestead.”

Logitech is equally excited for the partnership, as they truly believe in Wood’s abilities and feel that he has a bright future ahead of him.

“Logitech has a long heritage of innovating racing simulation products that offer the most realistic racing experience at home. We’re thrilled to sponsor Jack Wood in the No. 24 Chevrolet Silverado for GMS Racing at Talladega and Homestead, a new up-and-coming driver, who loves racing on our products, with an exciting future ahead of him,” said Jim Hoey, head of simulation gaming at Logitech G.

While the 22-year old Wood has not had the smoothest rookie campaign in NASCAR Camping World Truck Series history, the California-native has hung in there and gained experience over the opening 20 races of the 2022 season.

Wood sits 23rd in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series point standings and he has a best finish of 13th this season, which came at Atlanta Motor Speedway in the spring. Wood will look to better that this week at Talladega Superspeedway and at Homestead on October 22nd with his new partner on the truck.
