The final qualifying session of the 2022 season for Indy Lights is in the books, with Sting Ray Robb and Christian Rasmussen claiming respective poles for the doubleheader at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca.

Robb, piloting the No. 2 Andretti Autosport entry, rolled through the 2.238-mile, 11-turn natural terrain road course to a best lap of 1m15.7209s (106.401 mph) to claim the top spot for Race 1. The result marks Robb’s second pole of the season.

Christian Rasmussen ended up second by 0.0767s, with Benjamin Pedersen qualifying third in the No. 24 Global Racing Group with HMD Motorsports entry.

Hunter McElrea came away fourth, with championship leader Linus Lundqvist claiming fifth.

Rasmussen would get a bit of payback and take pole for Race 2. The Dane threw down a quick lap of 1m15.3618s (106.908 mph) to take his first pole of the year.

Lundqvist is set to start alongside on the front row after qualifying second, missing out on pole by 0.0170s. Robb finished the session in third, ahead of Pedersen and Matthew Brabham.
