A rough stretch of races for Kyle Busch looks like it may continue Sunday at Richmond, after contact from Ross Chastain turned the No. 18 Toyota Camry TRD around in turn three.

If you’re Joe Gibbs Racing, you have to be getting nervous every time you see Ross Chastain racing with one of your four cars, as in recent weeks, it’s usually ended in disaster.

This time, it was both Kyle Busch and Martin Truex Jr. that got caught up in Chastain’s mess to start the third stage, when the Trackhouse Racing driver got too deep into the third corner, making contact with the left-rear of Busch’s No. 18.

The four-car incident included major contact with Erik Jones, who was forced to bring his No. 43 FOCUSfactor Chevrolet to the garage and call it an afternoon at Richmond Raceway, which will result in a finish of 35th.
