Paul Steele, the jackman for Ty Majeski fell and was struck by the No. 66 truck on pit road during Saturday night’s NASCAR Truck Series race at Richmond.

It had been a perfect Saturday for Ty Majeski and the No. 66 ThorSport Racing team. Heading into their first pit stop of the Worldwide Express 250 at Richmond Raceway, Majeski had paced practice, snagged the pole and he won Stage 1.

However, on his first pit stop of the race, his jackman Paul Steele had an issue. Steele jumped over the pit road wall, but his knee buckled, which caused him to go to the ground. As Steele laid there, Majeski slammed into his body with the No. 66 truck.

Here is video of the wild exchange on pit road:

Incredibly, Steele not only got back up and performed the pit stop, but the No. 66 truck only lost two positions on pit road.

Thankfully, Steele was okay.
