Sammy Smith was turned from the lead by John Hunter Nemechek with 12 laps left in the ARCA Menards Series race at Mid-Ohio.

While it was expected that Sammy Smith and John Hunter Nemechek would not maintain the lead of the ARCA Menards Series Dawn 150 at Mid-Ohio, as both cars were on wet tires, as the track was drying, the two didn’t help themselves with under 15 laps left in the event.

Smith and Nemechek engaged in a fierce on-track battle for the lead, where they made contact several times. Finally, with 12 laps to go, Nemechek lost patience and seemed to turn Smith from the lead.
