On Tuesday, following the release of the entry list for Saturday’s O’Reilly Auto Parts 150 at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course, On Point Motorsports issued a statement, regarding the organization’s planned absence from the event.

“After much consideration, On Point Motorsports has decided to skip the upcoming race at Mid-Ohio to regroup and focus on improving our program,” the team’s statement reads. “We are confident that this is the right decision for us at this time and we will come back strong at Pocono Raceway.”

The organization has fielded the No. 30 Toyota Tundra TRD Pro in all 14 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series events this season for drivers Tate Fogleman, Josh Bilicki, Joey Gase, and Camden Murphy, scoring a season-high finish of 12th at Las Vegas.

On Point Motorsports broke into the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series on a part-time basis in 2018 and 2019, before going full-time in 2020 with a variety of drivers. In 79 starts, the organization has scored one top-five and 10 top-10 results.
