Kurt Busch and the No. 45 23XI Racing team will have an all-new look for this weekend’s AdventHealth 400 at Kansas Speedway, as Michael Jordan’s Jumpman brand will serve as the primary sponsor for the 2004 NASCAR Cup Series champion.

23XI Racing revealed the scheme first in a video posted to Twitter on Thursday.

The paint scheme will feature design elements from the Air Jordan 3 line of shoes. Across the entire car will be the “Black Cement” elephant print that is featured on the shoe.

On the hood will be a red Jumpman logo and the No. 45 on the sides of the car will be red with a white outline.

It’s a truly bold and awesome look for the car.

For Busch, it’s been an up and down season in his first year with 23XI Racing. While the 43-year old has had speed, luck has not been on his side. Whether it be pit road gaffes or just being in the wrong place at the wrong time during multi-car crashes, Busch has had a myriad of issues.

Still, the Las Vegas, Nevada-native has two top-five finishes and four top-10 finishes through the opening 12 races of the 2022 NASCAR Cup Series season.

As it stands, Busch sits 21st in the championship standings, well inside the top-30, so, if he were to win a race, he should lock his place in the Playoffs.
