Much like an onion, Todd Bodine’s return to the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series has had many, many layers. Bodine, the two-time series champion, was sent to the rear of the field for speeding in multiple sections on pit road.

Attempting to rebound, Bodine, running inside the top-20, lost his No. 62 Camping World Toyota Tundra TRD Pro in turn three, after getting aero loose behind Matt DiBenedetto’s No. 25.

After sliding for what felt like an eternity, Bodine looped his entry around, coming up the truck directly in the path of Loris Hezemans, making contact with the outside wall. Luckily, Hezemans was able to avoid contact.

Despite heavy damage to his entry on the rear, Bodine would return to the race, only one lap down.
