Drew Dollar’s NASCAR Xfinity Series debut isn’t going to turn out exactly how he was hoping, after an accident on Lap 15 has sidelined the Joe Gibbs Racing driver, with significant damage to his Lynx Capital Toyota Supra.

The accident happened when the inside lane started to accordion a couple of rows ahead, which disturbed Dollar’s already seemingly unstable Toyota Supra. The end result was the No. 18 being shot up into the backstretch wall at full speed.

Jeremy Clements, a contender in the 2021 NASCAR Xfinity Series playoffs, was unfortunately in the wrong place at the wrong time, getting a massive shunt from Dollar’s sliding entry.

Sam Mayer also went for a spin on the backstretch but has very little damage to his JR Motorsports entry.
