We’ve made it to the  Coke Zero Sugar 400 in Daytona Beach, Florida for the last race of the 2021 NASCAR regular season, and you’re probably like what am I reading right now.

Allow me to introduce myself, It me Garage Guy Chase, and I’m here to take you to the NASCAR DFS promise land on DraftKings and FanDuel.

Each week from here on out, I’ll be giving you four NASCAR Cup Series drivers to use in your lineups that I feel have the best chance to make you win big (or as we say at Garage Guys, “Bag A Tourney”).

Superspeedway racing is exciting and wild, but the true beauty is that it’s really anyone’s game down to the wire.

When you’re building NASCAR DFS lineups for Daytona it’s important to have a solid mixture of drivers. Be sure to have a few superspeedway track gods mixed with some less than average drivers starting towards the rear who you feel could make a push for Top 25.

One of the most important things you can do at superspeedway races (or really any races) is playing more than 10 different lineups. With all the crazy things that can happen at superspeedway races, the last thing you’ll want to do is be out of the money early due to a crash or blown engine.

Coke Zero Sugar 400 400: Lineup Picks For DraftKings, FanDuel

#11 Denny Hamlin – (DK – $9.4K | FD – $13.5K)

Denny Hamlin is the obvious favorite at Daytona because everyone knows Daytona is for Dennis (Denny = Dennis). Hamlin hasn’t won a single race so far this season, and with him starting P3 at a track he’s dominated over the past few years, I’d say he’s due. Hamlin should run Top 5 with ease if all goes well, and could finally get a summer win at Daytona.

#8 Tyler Reddick – (DK – $7.3K | FD – $8.2K)

Tyler “Red Dog” Reddick is my Gut Boi pick for Saturday night under the lights in Daytona. Reddick has yet to show he can win in the NASCAR Cup Series, and with him being at the cutoff line, I expect him to run aggressively to take the lead at some point in the race. Reddick starts P14 and has the car that should provide him an easy Top 10.

#43 Erik Jones – (DK – $6.3K | FD – $4K)

I’m Jonesin’ for a strong night of racing out of Erik Jones this Saturday night starting P22. Jones just announced he’ll be back running with Richard Petty Motorsports for the foreseeable future, and what more of a way to celebrate that than with a win, or a strong Top 10 finish. Aside from Jones having wins at Daytona in the past, RPM usually has good equipment capable of strong superspeedway runs.

#96 Landon Cassill – (DK – $7.1K | FD – $3K)

Landon Cassill is back in action this Saturday night for the first time in a while, and he is easily the punt play of the week. A punt play is a driver starting towards the very back that could pull off a Top 25 finish. Cassill starts P39 for this race, and should easily see some solid place differential.

One Response

  1. Oh, this is perfect. I am in a suicide pool this year. This time of year I am completely out of top 5 drivers and down to slim pickins’. This is the way to win the season tho. Picking your weak races with skill keeps you running in the top. Thanks for the expansion, TC
