On Wednesday Night, NASCAR Hall of Famer and FOX Sports Analyst Jeff Gordon, took laps around Indianapolis Motor Speedway’s Dirt Track, in advance of the facility’s annual BC39 dirt midget race.

Gordon, originally from Indiana, started his career on the dirt, before moving into the NASCAR Busch Series – now the NASCAR Xfinity Series — and eventually into the NASCAR Winston Cup Series – now the NASCAR Cup Series — collecting 92 victories and championships in 1995, 1997, 1998, and 2001.
Of course, Gordon’s laps were only exhibition laps, but the NASCAR legend will also serve as the honorary starter of the Driven to Save Lives BC39.
