In a part-time Xfinity Series schedule for 2021, Mason Massey understands that every start requires as much hard work, and grit as possible to prove he belongs among NASCAR’s second series. In fact, his Twitter bio even says “I don’t believe in failure.”

Heading into New Hampshire next week, he’ll bring what seems to be a perfect sponsor pairing for the young driver to reflect his work ethic.

Confirming the deal on Wednesday, BRUNT Workwear will join Team BJ McLeod Motorsports and Driver No. 99 for the AmBetter Get Vaccinated 200 at Loudon.

“I am so excited to be working with BRUNT, Eric, and the team,” said Mason Massey. “It’s a new brand that fits me and my background well. I’m excited for this to be a relationship that we can grow together. What BRUNT is creating is personal to me. The working guys, craftsmen, and blue-collar workers in our country are the ones who have built it. They deserve better options for their gear that supports them through their hard-working days. I know these guys, I grew up with these guys and I am excited to represent them when I drive the No. 99 BRUNT Workwear car.”

Launching just under a year ago, BRUNT Workwear is a new company looking to redefine the blue-collar work attire sector. From work boots to apparel and hats, BRUNT is looking to become a major name in the retail space.

“We are thrilled to partner with the BJ McLeod Motorsports team and have Mason represent BRUNT at the NASCAR Xfinity Series race,” said Eric Girouard, founder of BRUNT.

The partnership is not your next-in-line business deal either. The connection between sponsor and driver is deeply rooted in Massey’s core values and his upbringing.

Born in Douglasville, Georgia, Massey knows first hand the importance of the culture of blue-collar work while growing up in a small town. It’s that identity that helped bring together the 24-year-old, and Girouard.

As Girouard explained, “Mason personifies the BRUNT mentality – already at a young age, he’s fully focused on being at the top of NASCAR in the future, working incredibly hard every single day, training, and simulating. This is not his hobby, this is his life, that we are very excited to support. We love to support people with the hard-working values we believe in and to support the underdog as they continue to rise to the top. The BRUNT team looks forward to growing this partnership with Mason as he continues to grow in the industry.”

The Georgia driver is within his second season with BJMM in a part-time effort and is doing his part to show he belongs in the Series. In his 13 starts with the team, Massey has failed to DNF thus far in his young Xfinity career, bringing home a best of 20th at Talladega last season.

Fans can see Massey wheel the No. 99 BRUNT Workwear Supra at Loudon on Saturday, July 17th at 3:00 p.m. EST on NBCSN.
