An insane opening lap in Saturday’s Dutch Boy 150 at Kansas Speedway for the ARCA Menards Series, has already sent a pair of cars behind the wall without completing a single lap.

The accident happened when Bret Holmes was put into a three-wide situation with Corey Heim and Jack Wood, sending the No. 23 sideways and eventually spinning up the track, into Scott Melton’s No. 69.

Thankfully, both Holmes and Melton were able to climb from their vehicles unharmed, after an incredibly hard impact to the driver’s door.
