While the Bristol Dirt Race will be the first time the NASCAR Cup Series is on dirt in decades, one entry will promote another dirt event for the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series coming later this season.

For the first time in its history, the legendary Knoxville Speedway will host the Truck Series on July 9th at the famed half-mile dirt oval. Spire Motorsports driver Corey LaJoie will adorn a special paint scheme to help promote the event.

In addition, Spire Motorsports is holding a special contest entitled “Corey’s Dirt Track Payback”. Any fan who purchases two tickets to the event by Sunday at midnight, will have the chance to have their ticket purchase refunded, giving them their tickets for free.

“Hosting a NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race at Knoxville Raceway this season is certainly an honor for everyone associated with the track,” said Kendra Jacobs, Marketing Director at Knoxville Raceway. “Spire Motorsports and Corey are putting a spotlight on our event this week while all eyes turn to dirt-track racing. We’re thankful for this opportunity and love to see the enthusiasm for our inaugural NASCAR event.”

The NASCAR Truck Series event is being promoted in cooperation with the sister company to Spire Motorsports – Track Enterprises.

The No. 7 Camaro will also carry special decals for Caregility and Mary  Washington Healthcare. Caregility, a company dedicated to delivering care to wherever the patient is located through the use of the Caregility Virtual Care Platform, will leverage its motorsports partnerships to honor the nurses from MWHC during this weekend’s race as part of the Caregility Cares program. In addition, “MWHC Nurses” will appear over the passenger-side window.

“The Covid-19 pandemic has produced nearly daily challenges in the healthcare industry and the nurses at MWHC have risen to the challenge every step of the way,” said Ron Gaboury, CEO of Caregility. “We’re proud to be able to recognize their efforts and are excited to see them honored on the No. 7 Spire Motorsports Chevrolet driven by Corey LaJoie.”

Spire Motorsports has a big weekend ahead of them, with NASCAR Camping World Truck Series driver Stewart Friesen making his Cup debut on Sunday during the Food City Dirt Race in the No. 77 Camaro.

Fans can tune into the Food City Dirt Race on Sunday, March 28th at 3:30 PM EST on FOX and the FOX Sports app.
