LAS VEGAS, NEVADA – MARCH 05: John Hunter Nemechek, driver of the #4 Mobil 1 Toyota, crosses the finish line to win the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Bucked Up 200 at The Bullring at Las Vegas Motor Speedway on March 05, 2021 in Las Vegas, Nevada. (Photo by Chris Graythen/Getty Images)

Post-race technical inspection following Friday night’s NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Bucked Up 200 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway has been completed.

John Hunter Nemechek’s race-winning No. 4 Kyle Busch Motorsports Toyota Tundra has passed. As a result, NASCAR has declared him the official winner of the race.

This marks Nemechek’s first win of the 2021 NCWTS season and his seventh victory in 105 NCWTS starts.

The only issue discovered in post-race inspection was an unsecured lug nut on Stewart Friesen’s No. 52 truck. That infraction will result in a monetary fine for his crew chief.

No other issues were discovered in post-race inspection, which means all results and standings from this race are now considered official.

NASCAR will take one truck from each manufacturer for full engine teardown and dyno (no penalties will come from it). Nemechek’s No. 4 truck, Zane Smith’s No. 21 truck and Tanner Gray’s No. 15 truck will all go to NASCAR R&D.
