Post-race technical inspection following Saturday’s NASCAR Xfinity Series Super Start Batteries 188 at the Daytona International Speedway Road Course has been completed.
Ty Gibbs’ race-winning No. 54 Toyota Supra has passed. As a result, NASCAR has declared the 18-year old driver the winner of the race.
Gibbs officially becomes the sixth driver in the history of the NASCAR Xfinity Series (1982 to present) to win his debut race in the series.
No issues were discovered in post-race inspection, which means all results and standings are now considered official.
