After his first full-time NASCAR Xfinity Series campaign in 2020, Joe Graf Jr. will return for another full-time season with SS Greenlight Racing in 2021. Things will look a little different for Graf, as he’ll drive the No. 07, instead of the No. 08.

Graf is jumping at the chance to race again in 2021, and expects to take a step forward in his career with more experience under his belt.

“I can’t wait for the NASCAR Xfinity season to start,” said Graf in a team release. “2020 was a surreal learning experience.

“Racing so many tracks for the first time without getting any practice due to Covid-19 was tough. However, I believe conquering those challenges last season will allow us to have a more productive and competitive sophomore season.”

Bucked Up Energy, a partner from his 2020 season, will once again be on his car in 2020. The Bucked Up Colors will make their first appearance on the car in the season-opening Beef. It’s What’s For Dinner. 300 at Daytona International Speedway.

The release from the team did not mention how many races Bucked Up Energy will be the primary for in 2021.

Not only will Graf have a new number in 2021, but his crew chief will be new as well. Mike Tyska will hop aboard the pit box this season and the SS Greenlight Racing team will be adding Robin Pemberton — long-time Rusty Wallace crew chief and former NASCAR Senior Vice President of Competition — as a consultant.
