Inspection Complete: Chase Elliott Officially Wins at Martinsville

Post-race technical inspection following Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Series Xfinity 500 at Martinsville Speedway has been completed.

Chase Elliott’s race-winning No. 9 Chevrolet Camaro has passed. As a result, NASCAR has declared him the official winner of the race.

The only issues discovered was an unsecured lug nut on Kyle Busch’s No. 18 car, which will result in a monetary fine for crew chief. All results and standings are now considered official.
