According to a report from Le Journal De Montréal, Donald Theetge will contest the final two races of the NASCAR Xfinity Series season for DGM Racing, piloting the No. 90 Chevrolet Camaro at Martinsville Speedway [Oct. 31] and in the season-finale at Phoenix Raceway [Nov. 7].

Theetge – who alongside his brother Benoît, runs a large network of car dealerships in the Quebec-area — last piloted a vehicle in the NASCAR Xfinity Series 18 months ago, but has since participated in 19 NASCAR Pinty’s Series events.

“Mario [Gosselin] contacted me a few times recently to drive one of his three cars by the end of the calendar, but due to my professional obligations, it was difficult to free myself” Theetge said in an interview with Le Journal De Montreal. “My schedule is more flexible over the next few weeks and the temptation was too strong.”

Althought Theetge hasn’t competed in an event at Martinsville Speedway, the 54-year-old does have a NASCAR Xfinity Series start at Phoenix Raceway, where he earned his career-best finish of 25th-place driving for DGM Racing in 2018.
