Brett Moffitt has proven to be a contender for the victory Friday Afternoon at Michigan, leading all twenty laps en-route to the stage one victory.

Sheldon Creed, Ben Rhodes, Matt Crafton and Derek Kraus rounded out the top-five finishers in stage one, which ended under caution due to a spin by Brennan Poole.

An incident on lap five between Trey Hutchens III [No. 14] and Josh Reaume [No. 88] brought out the first caution of the day, while just after the first restart of the event, Christian Eckes spun in turn two, bringing out the second caution.

All 39 trucks are still running in the event and on the lead lap.
