UPDATE: NASCAR Adjusts Schedule For Atlanta, Then Races Ultimately Become Postponed

UPDATE: After initially adjusting the schedule for the race weekend at Atlanta Motor Speedway, NASCAR has made the difficult decision to postpone the events at Atlanta Motor Speedway and next weekend at Homestead-Miami Speedway due to the Coronavirus pandemic:

NASCAR has made sweeping changes to the weekend schedule for Atlanta Motor Speedway.

The sanctioning body has canceled all practice sessions for the NASCAR Cup, Xfinity and Truck Series for the weekend. All three Series will run only qualifying and the race.

The NASCAR Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series race, which was originally scheduled as a double-header event with the NASCAR Xfinity Series on Saturday, will now run Friday night at 7PM ET on FS1. Truck Series qualifying will be held Friday at 4PM ET on FS1.

Numerous NASCAR Truck Series competitors have confirmed the changes to the schedule on Twitter.

The NASCAR Cup Series race, which was originally scheduled for Sunday, has been moved to Saturday at 2PM ET with coverage coming from FOX. Cup qualifying will be held at 11 AM ET on Saturday and will be on FS1.

The NASCAR Xfinity Series race, will move to 7PM ET on Saturday and will be televised by FS1. Qualifying for the race will happen at 12PM ET and will be on FS1.
