DGR-Crosley announced this evening that Bubba Pollard, a namestay in short track racing all over the country, would make his ARCA Menard’s Series East debut this weekend at Five Flags Speedway. Pollard will drive the No. 17 Ford Performance Ford Fusion in this weekends Pensacola 200 presented by Inspectra Thermal Solutions.

Although, this will be the debut for Pollard in the ARCA East Series, the Senoia, GA native is no stranger to the Five Flags Speedway, scoring three top-five finishes in twelve starts in the prestigous Snowball Derby, a late model race held each year at the speedway.

“When we needed a driver for the Pensacola race Bubba was an obvious choice,” said team co-owner David Gilliland. “His experience at 5 Flags will be valuable to our team. He certainly knows his way around that track, so I would expect he’ll get up to speed quickly after we unload and have a few hours to test on Friday. We’re looking forward to having him on the team this weekend.”

The Pensacola 200 will start at 8:00 PM/EST and will be streamed live on NBC Sports TrackPass.
