43 cars are on the preliminary entry list for the 2020 NASCAR Cup Series Daytona 500 at Daytona International Speedway. Only 40 cars will make the field.
Seven non-chartered teams will fight for the final four spots in the field (as the 36 Chartered teams are guaranteed to start the race). The non Chartered teams are: 16 (Haley), 27 (Sorenson), 49 (Finchum), 54 (Yeley), 62 (Gaughan), 66 (Hill) and 96 (Suarez).
