Although Dale Earnhardt Jr. has said in the past that he would like to run the 2020 NASCAR Xfinity Series race at Homestead-Miami Speedway, there had yet to be an official announcement that he would.

Sure, a JR Motorsports release earlier this week confirmed that Earnhardt would run one race in the No. 8 entry, but it didn’t officially state which race it would be.

Thursday, as Earnhardt entered Homestead for his on-air coverage duties for NBC Sports, the driver slipped a tweet that confirms Homestead will be the site of his one-off race next year.
