This is kind of a cool deal, Stewart-Haas Racing’s No. 41 Ford Mustang, which is driven by Daniel Suarez, will have a new look for this weekend’s race at Texas Motor Speedway.

The car will be all blue and will be sponsored by T-Mobile’s Walmart Family Mobile prepaid phone service.

According to a report from Adam Stern of Sports Business Journal, this will be a one-off deal for Walmart Family Mobile and SHR. But it’s cool to see a new brand in the sport, and this may open the door for cell phone companies to re-enter the sport.

Most cellphone carriers and producers left the sport or were pushed away during the Sprint era as they were not allowed on cars — unless already grandfathered in.
